School Calendar

At the school board meeting on Thursday, March 14, 2024, the Suffolk City School Board voted 5-2 to approve the 2024-2025 calendar year with a Pre-Labor Day start of school. The Pre-Labor Day Start will continue into the upcoming school year. This means the 2025-2026 school year will begin on Monday, August 25, 2025, the week before Labor Day. In accordance with the Code of Virginia 22.1-79.1, the division will be closed on Friday, August 29, 2025. The last day of school for the 2025-2026 school year is June 5, 2026.
